Seminars and Workshops USING SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE FOR MAXIMIZING BENEFITS OF CPEC
International Network for Government Science Advice ( https://www.ingsa.org/​) is a collaborative platform whose mission is to provide a forum for policy makers, practitioners, national academies, and researchers to share experience, build capacity and develop theoretical and practical approaches to the Use of Scientific Evidence in Informing Policy at All Levels of Government. The Asia chapter of INGSA is organizing a one day workshop jointly with NUST and National Academy of Young Scientists (NAYS) for the first time in Pakistan to undertake discourse on utilizing science for maximizing benefits of CPEC which is one of the most important development initiative in Pakistan’s history.

Objective of the Workshop:

1. Introduce INGSA and INGSA-Asia

2. Create awareness on importance of using scientific evidence in policy formulation through case studies

3. Discuss CPEC related potential effects on climate change, social integration and economy.
